What currencies do you support?

We support major global currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, KES, UGX, ZAR, CAD, CHF, and more. Visit our Rates page to see all supported currencies with current exchange rates.

What are your operating hours?

Our branches are open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Some branches have extended hours. All branches are closed on Sundays and major public holidays. Check our branch locations for specific hours.

Do I need an account to exchange currency?

No, you don't need an account for over-the-counter currency exchange. Simply visit any of our branches with valid identification to complete your transaction. For large amounts, we recommend calling ahead to ensure availability.

Rates & Conversion

How often are exchange rates updated?

Our exchange rates are updated in real-time, multiple times throughout the day based on global market movements. You can check our Rates page or use our Converter tool for the most current rates.

Is there a difference between buying and selling rates?

Yes. The "buying rate" is what we pay when you sell foreign currency to us. The "selling rate" is what you pay when you buy foreign currency from us. The difference (spread) is how we cover operational costs and provide competitive rates.

Do you offer better rates for larger amounts?

Transactions & Security

Is my transaction secure?

Absolutely. We are fully licensed and regulated by the Bank of Tanzania. All transactions are protected with modern security protocols, CCTV surveillance, and verified by our compliance team.

Do you issue transaction receipts?

Yes, you'll receive a printed receipt for every transaction made at our branches. Digital receipts are also available upon request for corporate clients.

What identification do I need?

For transactions under $3,000 USD equivalent, a valid government-issued ID (Passport, National ID, or Driver's License) is required. For larger amounts, additional documentation may be requested per BoT regulations.

Do you have a mobile app?

Yes! Our mobile app allows you to check live rates, find nearby branches, and convert currency on the go. Download it from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Can I exchange currency online?

Currently, we offer rate checking and conversion estimates online. For actual currency exchange, please visit any of our branches with valid identification.
